Book recommendations / Book Club

Post by frossmark »

Training the mind and widen your horizon is part of The Pump Club principles.

The book club inspired me to share some of my favorites that I read this year (OK - I use audible while in traffic etc. as it is more time effective for me and takes out less family time, nothing wrong there, actually just more efficient in my case).

  • Michael Easter - The Comfort Crisis: Embrace Discomfort to Reclaim Your Wild, Happy, Healthy Self
  • Michael Easter - Scarcity Brain: Fix Your Craving Mindset and Rewire Your Habits to Thrive with Enough
  • Greg McKeon - Effortless: Make It Easier to Do What Matters Most
  • Greg McKeon - Essentialism: The Disciplined Pursuit of Less
  • Steven Kotler - The Rise of Superman: Decoding the Science of Ultimate Human Performance
  • Steven Kotler - The Art of Impossible: A Peak Performance Primer

Feel free to share your own recommendations and share your thoughts.. if necessary, we open topics per book in the forum :-)

Didn't read it this year, but "Adam Bornstein's - You can't screw this up" is next to be discussed in The Pump App - and of course this is a great book on how to simplify and improve your diet. I literally just got a friend into reading it, will need to follow up with him to see how it going :-) Perfect reminder for me
